American Muslims Today began as a radio show broadcasted on local community radio station KZUM in Lincoln, NE. The show was founded out of a desire to share the views, beliefs and lives of dedicated American Muslims with the broader American public. It was thought that this program would inspire American Muslims with hope in the midst of difficult times and encourage them towards positive change. The show would also work to de-mystify the religion of Islaam and Muslims in the eyes of the American Public, by telling the truth about the faith and refuting the falsehoods attributed to it.

It is in that same spirit that www.go-amt.net was born. To please our Lord by calling towards living "the middle path", one that is far from laxity or extremism. To rally Muslims in America  back to the purity of their faith in order to improve our condition and move towards success. In short, to be Fearless Muslim America's Think Tank.
