While it may be an embarrassing issue to be mentioned by a scholar or the common folk, I must admit that it is a noble act to have asked such a question at all. As the Shaykh mentions in his introduction, we are living in days and times in which the desires have run wild. As a result, people act without any regard for the Islamic rulings regarding their actions. This brief reply from one of our honorable and notable scholars, Shaykh Mashoor H. Salmaan of Jordan, is another reminder of our constant need for the scholars for advice on every aspect of our lives, public and private.
